Hi! I'm Bowen Zhou
The first time I saw a photograph of Earth, I imagined what it would be like to experience outer space. When I received my first iPad, I wondered how the digital could manifest as spaces you could move through. Those moments of wonder shaped how I see design—as a way of shifting perception and revealing new possibilities.
I live at the intersection of architecture, systems thinking, and experiential design. Trained in sculpture, industrial design, and mixed-reality interfaces, my approach is anchored in how spatial frameworks emerge from—and influence—dynamic systems.

Across projects—from music halls in Japan to speculative urban systems for Hyundai and spatial interfaces for NASA—I’ve been driven by a consistent question: how can architecture operate as a generative system that reveals hidden frameworks rather than a fixed object?
I’m looking to contribute to teams that experiment through making and expanding how people inhabit space.
